Comparison guide

Compare pool cleaners by exact model and package

Robotic cleaners are often marketed in families, while parts, manuals, packages and warranty terms attach to exact product numbers. Two listings with nearly identical names may share a platform but differ in app, filter, included accessories, pool-length rating or warranty. The safe comparison is not “Series A versus Series B.” It is a fact sheet for each exact SKU, backed by a product page and manual for that SKU.

Record the model number and market

Copy the manufacturer number from the product page and the exact seller offer. Keep suffixes such as US, PC or other retailer codes visible until a primary source shows whether they represent a true equivalent package. A manual can be reached through a model selector; confirm that the model number carried into the manual page is the one on the product page. If two suffixes lead to different warranty or box-content information, preserve that difference rather than merging them to simplify the comparison.

Compare functions, not just a shared family name

The Maytronics U.S. LIBERTY comparison table illustrates why. It lists the LIBERTY 600 with a 50-foot pool-length rating, Maytronics One and multi-layer filtration; it lists the 400, 300 and 200 for 33 feet. In the same table, the 400 uses MyDolphin Plus, while the 300 and 200 show no app; the smaller three are shown with combination filter kits. These are useful distinctions for a buyer who cares about a 50-foot limit, app setup or filter arrangement. The table is not a performance test and does not prove that the 600 cleans a particular pool better.

Do not let a comparison table flatten modes

A specification can describe a capability without describing which program uses it. The LIBERTY 600 manual distinguishes a three-hour Full Coverage mode, a Floor-only mode and multiple Eco schedules. In its two-week schedule the model cleans the floor only; in shorter full-coverage schedules it can reach steps and sun ledges at least 13 inches deep. A useful comparison records both the feature and its operating plan, so one mode's coverage does not silently transfer to another.

Keep unknown package details unknown

A blank comparison cell is not proof that an accessory is absent. A product page may also show add-on parts or a caddy cover below the cleaner listing. Separate the machine from the accessory, then verify the exact kit's contents with its manual or seller. Record the warranty as stated for the exact SKU, but do not infer service quality or future availability from that number.

A short pre-order checklist

  • Does the offer show the exact manufacturer product number?
  • Does the manual match that product number and market?
  • Do pool length, depth, surface and chemistry limits fit your pool?
  • Does one documented operating plan include every required area?
  • Are the desired filters, charger, retrieval tools and storage accessories in the stated package?
  • Can you follow the charging, cleaning and safety routine?

Until model identity is resolved, a comparison should say “not established,” not assume sameness. The LIBERTY 600 review and its cited manufacturer comparison page show the evidence currently available for one model family.

Choosing current-reference models only

The current U.S. WYBOT C2 (2026 Upgrade), SKU WYUS-C2-KG1, C2 Vision (2026 New), SKUs WYUS-C2V-KG1/AG1/WG1, and A1 (2026 Upgrade)/OS2010, Black WYUS-A1-KG and Gray WYUS-A1-DAG are current-reference entries in this library. They remain eligible when earlier products are excluded, but that evidence label does not promise current stock. Open the same current-reference-only answer · Check the same battery/waterline/app answer.

The A1 (2026 Upgrade)/OS2010, Black WYUS-A1-KG and Gray WYUS-A1-DAG, remains in the current-reference-only library because both finishes map to its current U.S. product ID; neither finish is an earlier model number. Review the exact A1 variant evidence · Open the same current-reference-only finder answer.

For the current-only battery/waterline/app answer, the current C2 and C2 Vision remain candidates; the A1 is excluded because its manual says floor-only and the page lists no app or remote control. Read the C2 and C2 Vision reviews; check the A1's limits · Open the same current/battery/waterline/app finder answer.

With earlier records excluded, neither WYBOT C2 is a documented battery-powered surface skimmer, even though both support app features; adding a numeric length also fails because their maximum-pool-length field is unknown. Aiper's exact U.S. Store page gives Scuba S1 Pro SKU AI00457231001 a “Phase out” label, so this earlier-reference record is not included when the finder is set to current-reference models only. With earlier models excluded, Scuba S3 remains outside the battery/surface/app result because its exact U.S. coverage list omits floating-debris cleaning. Read the S3 task distinction · Open the same current-only combination.

Current-reference status does not make the plain Scuba V3 a surface skimmer: it is not included in the battery/surface/app set because its exact U.S. listing does not name floating-debris cleaning. Read the plain V3 task distinction · Open the same current-only combination.

Aiper's Scuba S3, Scuba V3, Scuba X1, Scuba X1 Pro, Scuba X1 Pro Max, Scuba V3 Ultra, EcoSurfer S2 and the separately named Surfer S1 are eight current-reference U.S. entries; this evidence label does not promise stock. The S3 is U.S. Store SKU 40001015.0006, separate from the plain V3 SKU 40001016.0005, surface-skimming V3 Ultra SKU 40001013.0005 and surface-skimming EcoSurfer S2 SKU 40003002.0020. With current-reference models only, a battery-powered surface-skimming task with app support returns six separate records in this reviewed set: Aiper's X1 Pro Max, V3 Ultra, EcoSurfer S2 and Surfer S1 plus Dolphin Skimmi 9997001 and Skimmi 300 9997003-US. The two Aiper skimmers are not submerged floor/wall robots; neither has a published U.S. maximum pool length, and the S1's product identity has no verified retail SKU. The two Skimmi entries remain distinct from one another and from the four Aiper products. The separate Open Box Nautilus CC 66666113-USB and Refurbished Nautilus CC 88886113-US exact U.S. pages are current-reference records. Their different outlet-condition labels do not, by themselves, make either product an earlier lifecycle record or guarantee stock.

Selecting No — current-reference models only excludes the earlier 88886406-PCI assessment while retaining the separately numbered current-reference 88886409-PCI, Dolphin Skimmi 9997001 and Skimmi 300 9997003-US when their other documented requirements fit. The current genuine-refurbished Proteus DX3 88886114-LES is also current-reference: its official listing is separate from the earlier/new 99996114-LSB SKU, and its refurbished label alone does not make it an earlier record. “Current-reference” describes the evidence status in this review library; it is not a stock or sale-availability guarantee. The 88886409-PCI has its own 50-ft pool limit and cable specification. Both Skimmi SKUs are distinct current-reference surface skimmers; their conservative 60-ft matcher ceiling reflects the U.S. FAQ's conflict with each exact 65-ft product-table value. The Surfer S1 remains in the current-reference set under Aiper's U.S. Surfer S1 page; current-reference does not prove stock. Including a separately documented earlier SKU

Including earlier records does not reclassify or remove the current-reference WYBOT C2 (2026 Upgrade), the three finish SKUs on the C2 Vision (2026 New) page, or the A1 (2026 Upgrade), Black WYUS-A1-KG and Gray WYUS-A1-DAG. Keep the WYBOT S3 as a model reference until its U.S. offer is bridged

The official S3 manual and use guide identify the WYBOT S3 High-End and describe its battery-powered floor, wall and waterline routines, app-based pool mapping, and solar/DC dock. But the exact U.S. product route checked for this edition returns 404, the current U.S. Cordless collection did not list the S3, and no exact current U.S. SKU or seller package was verified. Its separate model-reference assessment preserves the documented facts and image without treating the S3 as a current shopping candidate. The manual's 300 m² pool-area maximum does not establish a length in feet; the use guide also cautions against steps or ledges and specifies a dock-site constraint distinct from the cleaner's water-depth figures.

If you are looking for documented current alternatives rather than an S3 offer, open the same current-only battery, waterline, app and included ultra-fine-filter finder conditions.
