Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
Does the C1's product page establish the finder's 13-inch step-depth requirement?
The product bullet mentions steps and slopes, but the comparison table's formal coverage row lists floor, walls and waterline, and no minimum step/ledge depth is supplied. The exact 13-inch step option therefore remains unsupported; confirm the actual feature and mode with WYBOT before relying on it.
Explore this need in the finder →Can the C1 be screened against a numeric minimum pool length?
No maximum pool length is stated on the exact U.S. product page. The separate 1,615-sq-ft area figure does not establish length, so the model does not satisfy a numeric pool-length finder condition.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the C1 have a separate included ultra-fine filter kit?
The comparison table lists one 180-μm large cartridge. WYBOT's product bullet uses the phrase 180-μm ultra-fine filter, but the exact product material reviewed does not identify an additional included kit or complete carton contents. A separate filter-box listing does not prove in-box inclusion or compatibility with both 2026 finish SKUs.
Explore this need in the finder →Does the C1 clean floating debris from the water surface?
The C1 comparison lists submerged floor, wall and waterline coverage; it does not list a floating-debris surface-skimming mode. WYBOT lists the F1 as a separate skimmer, so do not transfer that task to the C1.
Explore this need in the finder →What app functions are listed for the C1?
WYBOT's product copy lists mode customization, weekly scheduling and OTA updates; its comparison table lists scheduled cleaning up to four cycles per week and app remote control. These are listed app features, not evidence of live underwater steering or verified phone/network compatibility.
Explore this need in the finder →What this assessment covers
This is a source-based assessment of the current U.S. WYBOT C1 (2026 Upgrade), not a hands-on review. WYBOT’s U.S. collection associates the page with two finish SKUs: Gray WYUS26-C1-AG and Black WYUS26-C1-KG. The findings below apply only to those two listed variants. The same collection also exposes a separate C1 offer, WYUS-C1-WAG, whose page and specifications have not been reconciled here; do not assume it is the same machine just because the model name is similar.
Start with the measurements WYBOT actually publishes
The C1 page lists up to 1,615 square feet of pool area, up to 150 minutes of runtime, 3,038 gallons per hour of suction, a three-hour charge time and 17.6 pounds of robot weight. These are manufacturer specifications, not results measured for this review. None supplies a maximum pool length in feet; an area figure cannot be converted reliably to pool length. If a 30-, 40- or 50-foot maximum matters, ask WYBOT to confirm the applicable number for the exact WYUS26 SKU rather than treating 1,615 ft² as an answer.
Coverage: a meaningful waterline claim, with a step-depth caveat
In WYBOT’s comparison table, C1 coverage is listed as floor, walls and waterline. The main product bullet goes further and mentions steps and slopes, but neither that bullet nor the comparison gives a minimum step or ledge depth. The table is the more structured coverage statement, and neither source establishes that every named area is cleaned in one combined pass. For the finder’s specific request for steps at least 13 inches deep, this assessment does not count the C1: a broad step mention does not answer the required depth boundary. Check the real ledge profile and exact operating instructions with WYBOT before relying on that feature.
WYBOT lists the C1 separately from its F1 surface skimmer. C1’s floor, wall and waterline claims describe submerged cleaning; they do not show collection of floating debris at the water surface. If surface skimming is essential, treat that as a separate task and confirm the skimmer’s own documentation rather than transferring F1 features to C1.
Where the C1 sits beside WYBOT’s C2 choices
The product page’s comparison is useful because it places C1 next to the 2026 C2 and C2 Vision. In that table, C1 is listed at 1,615 ft², 150 minutes and 3,038 GPH, while both C2 entries show 2,152 ft², 180 minutes and 3,592 GPH. C1 is paired with a triple-motor system, five cleaning modes and six paths; the C2 entries list a brushless triple-motor system, seven modes and six paths, with C2 Vision adding four vision modes and seven paths. Those are listed differences, not proof that one will clean a specific pool better or reach every corner.
The filtration rows differ too: C1 is shown with a single large 180-micron cartridge, while each C2 column is labeled 180-micron plus ultra-fine dual filtration. That comparison does not establish that the C1 carton includes a separate ultra-fine replacement kit. Nor does the word “ultra-fine” in a marketing bullet turn a single listed cartridge into an additional kit. If an extra filter is a buying requirement, get an exact written box list for the finish SKU.
App, schedules and self-parking
WYBOT’s C1 copy lists mode customization, weekly cleaning schedules and over-the-air updates in the WYBOT App. The comparison table says scheduled cleaning can be set for up to four cycles per week and includes app remote control and OTA-update rows. It also lists self-parking. These statements establish the app features WYBOT names, not live underwater steering, a particular Wi-Fi band, phone compatibility, or a guaranteed pickup location in every pool. Confirm the setup requirements for the exact product version and check whether “self-parking” means the location or retrieval behavior you need.
Documents and package details still need a version check
The C1 support route associated with product ID 9016011424021 links a user manual and a quick guide. I checked both PDFs; their covers identify the C1 as OS7010C, with 2024 document codes. The current product listing calls itself a 2026 Upgrade and identifies the Gray and Black items by WYUS26 SKU. The support association is useful, but it does not explicitly reconcile that document code to both current finish SKUs. Before following setup, charging or maintenance instructions, ask WYBOT which version the PDFs govern. This review does not borrow operating limits from an older or sibling C1 listing.
Recall status is not cleared by this review
The exact CPSC WYBOTics recall notice could not be retrieved directly in this research (the saved response was HTTP 403). I could not verify whether the notice covers these exact WYUS26-C1 finish SKUs, so this review makes no recall determination or safety-clearance claim. Confirm the exact SKU with CPSC and WYBOT before purchase.
The product material reviewed also does not provide a complete current carton list. WYBOT’s separate Parts & Accessories collection includes a listing titled “WYBOT C1 - Filter Box,” but that separate listing is not proof that an extra filter ships in the box or that the part is confirmed compatible with both WYUS26 finishes. Likewise, the page’s two-year warranty banner should prompt a check of the actual terms, seller and SKU—not an assumption about every claim or service outcome.
Bottom line
The WYBOT C1 (2026 Upgrade) is a reasonable model to compare when the documented needs are cordless floor, wall or waterline cleaning and the stated 1,615-ft² area figure is relevant. Its app scheduling, OTA-update and self-parking rows may also matter to a buyer choosing among routines. The evidence does not give this model a pool-length rating, a qualifying 13-inch step depth, a separate included ultra-fine kit or an unambiguous 2026-SKU manual bridge. Confirm those points for the exact WYUS26-C1-AG or WYUS26-C1-KG before purchase. No price, stock, customer rating, independent test or personal-use result is used here.
