How Pool Robot Scout evaluates model fit

Pool Robot Scout helps readers compare robotic pool-cleaner models against pool type, pool shape, required coverage, power routine and care needs. Assessments use exact U.S. model evidence, identify unresolved limits, and distinguish reference-only pages from ordinary finder recommendations. This site is not a manufacturer or pool service, and it does not claim product ownership or hands-on performance testing.

What a model assessment means

Product-page specifications, model-specific manuals and official support documents are checked against an exact U.S. model number where available. A stated limit is presented as the manufacturer's limit. It is not turned into a measured capability or a promise about a pool the reviewer has not seen. When evidence is missing—for example, whether a particular package contains a caddy—the fact remains unknown and the buyer is asked to check the exact offer.

How comparisons are kept fair

A model name can cover several product numbers, bundles or warranty routes. We keep these apart until primary evidence supports a merge. A corded configuration is not treated as a cordless one; one filter or Eco mode is not silently inherited by a related model. The finder checks whether each selected requirement appears together in a documented operating plan. It does not score products or infer compatibility from a brand name.

Limits and updates

An empty finder result means no reviewed record establishes every condition you selected; it is not evidence that no suitable cleaner exists elsewhere. Sources may omit other products or later changes. Before buying, check the exact model and current offer against the manual, pool geometry, included package, warranty and seller terms. No price or availability is promised.

Corrections should be made by updating the affected source evidence and article, not by weakening a fit rule to force a match. Review dates mark when the cited evidence was checked, not a forecast of future availability.
