A useful fit for

A floor-first U.S. option for an above-ground pool within the manufacturer's 26 ft rating when walls and waterline are not essential.

The main tradeoff

The exact U.S. specification is floor-only; waterline scrubbing and an active brush are listed as absent. Charging time, water depth, package contents and exact U.S. instructions remain unconfirmed.

Your needs, this model

Does it fit your priorities?

What pool length and cleaning time does the Tracker 25 page support?

The exact U.S. Product No. 07.009.0017 page rates this above-ground floor cleaner for pools up to 26 ft and says it can clean that pool in 1.5 hours. That is a manufacturer statement, not a measured result or a guarantee for a particular pool. The page does not give a water-depth range or charging duration; confirm both from exact U.S. instructions.

Does the Tracker 25 clean walls or the waterline?

The exact U.S. product table lists Floor coverage, Waterline Scrubbing No and Active Brush No; it does not establish wall coverage. If wall or waterline cleaning is a requirement, the published Tracker 25 specification is not a supported fit.

Is a fine filter kit, app or complete package documented?

The U.S. page lists a coarse top-access filter and multiple brushless motors, but gives no particle rating, box inventory, charging duration or app/Bluetooth entry. The Documentation area is empty and the exact-number manual search returned no product. Ask for the filter part number, package inventory and current U.S. manual; do not infer those details from the Tracker 15, 35, 55 or international versions.

The Niya Tracker 25 is the middle floor-only U.S. model in the Tracker group, with Product No. 07.009.0017 and UPC 810071222863. Maytronics rates it for an above-ground pool up to 26 feet and says it can clean that floor in 1.5 hours. Its page also lists a coarse top-access filter, a 10.033-pound robot weight and a 1.5-year warranty. These manufacturer claims are not independently tested.

Its job is the pool floor

The exact U.S. technical table is clear about coverage: Floor. It lists Waterline Scrubbing as No and Active Brush as No; it does not document wall or step cleaning. The page classifies the Tracker 25 for above-ground pools, lists several pool shapes and finishes, and gives a maximum length of 26 feet. A rectangular pool within that limit is an easy use case to understand from the listing, but actual suitability still depends on the pool's depth, bottom shape, steps and other features that the exact page does not describe.

Maytronics describes the Tracker family as part of its cordless Niya collection. The exact Tracker 25 page adds a few operational claims: sonar-powered navigation, automatic parking at the pool edge after a cycle or when the battery is low, and multiple brushless motors associated with suction. Those features may appeal if retrieval and autonomous movement are priorities. They do not tell a buyer how long charging takes, how the robot behaves on a particular pool bottom, or whether it will stop at a convenient point. The product page's one-and-a-half-hour cleaning statement is a manufacturer's claim, not an independent runtime measurement.

Filter access is known; filter grade and package are not

A coarse filter with top access is the exact U.S. page's specification. Top access can be a practical design detail because the filter is reached from above, but the page does not give a particle-size rating, basket volume, maintenance interval or a named finer-filter option. It also provides no box inventory. Do not assume a replacement basket, ultra-fine element, charger, hook or pole is included merely because another Niya model lists one. Ask for the contents and compatible filter part number for Product No. 07.009.0017.

The page lists package dimensions of 23.9 by 19.8 by 20.2 inches, separate from the 10.033-pound robot weight. Those are package measurements, not the cleaner's body dimensions. The exact product page has no document in its Documentation area, and a query for 07.009.0017 at Maytronics' official manual portal returned no product. The international Tracker 25 page uses another product number and provides a separate regional manual, but it is not a substitute for the U.S. version's instructions. Water-depth limits, charging directions, pool-chemistry boundaries, storage guidance and safety instructions therefore remain to be verified before use.

Compare the exact Tracker listings

Tracker 15 and Tracker 25 are both published as floor-only, above-ground cleaners. The 25's listed length limit is 26 feet versus 20 feet for the 15, and its stated cleaning time is 1.5 hours versus one hour. The U.S. pages also list different robot weights—10.033 pounds for the 25 and 7.056 for the 15—and different warranties: 1.5 years and one year, respectively. These comparisons describe what the pages say; they do not establish which model is faster in practice or how much cleaning either completes in a particular pool.

Tracker 35 and 55 are different on the central coverage question: their U.S. pages list floor, walls and waterline for pools up to 40 feet. That broader published job is a reason to compare them if the waterline matters. It is not a reason to assume their filters, manuals or package contents are interchangeable with the Tracker 25. On the 25's page, no app-control feature or Bluetooth field is listed; I leave app support unresolved rather than infer it from the wider Niya family.

Regional model identity matters too. The international Tracker 25 page uses Product No. 07.009.0027 and UPC 7290119716685, and lists a two-year warranty. The U.S. record is Product No. 07.009.0017, UPC 810071222863, with a 1.5-year warranty. Use the U.S. product number and terms when evaluating a U.S. offer; a shared name is not evidence that the warranty, manual or package crosses markets.

What to verify before buying

Check the exact U.S. identifier, pool classification and 26-foot limit against the actual pool. If the floor is sloped or the pool has a shallow ledge, ask for the exact U.S. manual rather than assume the machine can handle it. Confirm what “1.5 hours” means for the offered unit, then request the charging time and the correct maintenance instructions. Verify the filter grade and box inventory in writing; the listed coarse top-access filter does not establish an ultra-fine kit or included accessories. The manufacturer page labels this listing “Store Exclusive” and “Buy Local,” which is not a statement of current local inventory or the seller's terms.

A dated CPSC recall dataset was searched using Tracker 25, Product No. 07.009.0017 and UPC 810071222863; there was no exact-term match. This is only a check of the saved dataset and not a safety certification or a guarantee about later or differently indexed notices. Verify current instructions, the written warranty and the seller's return terms for the exact item.

Bottom line

The Tracker 25 is most plausible when the need is above-ground floor cleaning and the 26-foot rating adds useful margin over the Tracker 15. Its sonar-navigation and docking descriptions are useful features to compare, but the published record leaves basic ownership details—charge time, depth range, exact manual and box contents—open. It is not the right published fit when walls or waterline are essential. Choose by the exact U.S. SKU, not by the family name, and resolve the missing instructions and package details before committing to a seller.
