Dolphin Refurbished Nautilus CC Supreme review

This is a source-based assessment of the U.S. Dolphin Refurbished Nautilus CC Supreme, Product No. 88881083-PC. It is a separate refurbished listing, not the new 99991083-PC or the Open Box 66661083-PC. The product page supplies a useful set of surface, cable, pool-size, filter and app details; Maytronics' exact-number manual lookup, however, returns no product. So the specifications below describe what the seller's record supports, not a hands-on test or a promise about an individual refurbished unit.

What this exact refurbished listing documents

Maytronics lists floor, wall and waterline cleaning for an in-ground pool and gives four pool-shape labels: rectangular, round, free shape and kidney. The stated maximum pool length is 50 feet. This is a pool-length rating, not a guarantee that every 50-foot layout, irregular corner or cable route will work. The page separately lists a 56-foot cable and an anti-tangling swivel; that cable number does not extend the stated pool maximum or confirm where a power supply can safely sit.

The table's default cycle is 2.5 hours. A delay feature and weekly timer are listed with MyDolphin Plus and Wi-Fi. Those labels support a basic app-and-scheduling fit, but the missing exact-number manual means this assessment cannot explain the sequence for pairing, which commands are available in each connection state, or how to configure the timer. The page also marks remote control “No”; app connectivity should not be read as live, joystick-like steering.

Two filter listings, one important caveat

The main filter field names a Fine Filter Kit, while a separate “Additional Filter in the Box” field names an Ultra-Fine Filter Kit. The page identifies top access, three brushes and Standard and Combine brush types. It does not give a micron figure, exact filter part number or cartridge count for the extra kit, so “Ultra-Fine” is the maker's kit label rather than a measured particle-removal claim. The comparison table also says there is no full-filter indicator. A buyer who wants a different debris grade should check the exact 88881083-PC carton and compatible replacement part instead of treating a shared Nautilus name as a filter cross-reference.

Refurbished is a condition category, not a unit inspection

The exact title identifies this as a refurbished cleaner, and the page lists a one-year warranty. In its general outlet terms, Maytronics distinguishes refurbished units—previously owned, restored and certified by its technicians—from Open Box units it describes as lightly used or returned and like-new. The same terms describe refurbishment inspection, cleaning and testing, a 12-month limited warranty, a 14-day return policy, and typical outlet contents such as the robot, power supply, filter(s), user manual and warranty. The FAQ warns that accessories can vary by model or condition. These are manufacturer category statements, not a report that this particular unit was inspected by us or that a particular carton contains every accessory.

There is also a separately numbered Open Box Nautilus CC Supreme, 66661083-PC, and a new Nautilus CC Supreme, 99991083-PC. They are not interchangeable offer records. Do not assume the refurbished unit's listed Fine and Ultra-Fine kits, 56-foot cable or scheduling fields apply to either other product number; check that the product number on the seller's offer and the page match.

Where the evidence stops

The exact support link for 88881083-PC leads to a manual selector that returns “No products were found.” The product page does not list a step or sun-ledge mode, a minimum depth, a pool-finish restriction, water-depth limits, installation clearance or power-supply placement. This is a gap in the evidence reviewed here, not proof that the cleaner cannot work on any such feature. If one of those details is essential, ask Maytronics or the seller for instructions that identify this precise product number before buying.

The caddy itself is not listed as an included item. Caddy covers shown in the add-on section are accessories and do not establish that a caddy is in the refurbished carton. Similarly, a general outlet contents list is not an individual packing checklist. Confirm the actual supply, filter set, manual, accessories, condition and return terms attached to the offer.

Who should keep it on the shortlist?

This listing is worth comparing when the pool is in-ground, no longer than the stated 50-foot maximum, and the desired plan is corded floor, wall and waterline cleaning. Its listed MyDolphin Plus support, weekly timer, delay feature and additional Ultra-Fine kit are meaningful selection fields if those features are important. Its cable and pool limits are separate, while the extra kit's exact grade details remain unstated.

Look elsewhere or pause for more evidence if cordless operation, documented step-depth coverage, a particular water-depth limit, a known caddy package or model-specific setup instructions are hard requirements. And because this is a refurbished offer, inspect the exact seller record for the item condition, warranty and return window; the category label alone cannot describe an individual unit. Use the finder to compare the documented fit, then open the exact review and verify the suffix before selecting a package.
